Wendy Van de Poll, MS, CEOL

Wendy Van de Poll is a pioneering leader in the field of pet loss grief support and an international bestselling and award-winning author. Which includes The Pet Professional’s Guide to Pet Loss: How to Prevent Burnout, Support Clients, and Manage the Business of Grief. Wendy is a Certified End of Life and Pet Grief Support Coach and the founder of The Center for Pet Loss Grief, LLC. She has developed numerous trainings, including The Pet Loss Specialist and Mentoring programs. Wendy has worked with many pet care professionals on preventing burnout, supporting clients, and providing helpful business methods. Her particular mission when working with pet care professionals is to provide specific guidance on how to manage loss before burnout strikes. She has assisted pet caregivers, veterinarians, and pet cemetery owners in addressing end-of-life events. She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Wolf Ecology and Behavior and has run with wild wolves in Minnesota, coyotes in Massachusetts and foxes in her backyard. She lives in the rural New Hampshire with her husband, her rescue doggo Addie and all kinds of wildlife.
